Our Leadership Team
Miss Tami is the heart of our village and our amazing owner. She has worked in the early childhood education field for over 35 years. She has taught kindergarten, pre-k, and diverse learners, and has been an executive director of multiple childcare centers. Miss Tami earned her degree in education and began her career in the public schools of Boston. After having her three amazing children, she transitioned into the role of a pre-k teacher and then an executive director. She has accumulated a wealth of knowledge in behavior modification, social-emotional development, and designing developmentally appropriate curriculum. Her favorite part about her role is creating a high-quality childcare community where all children can thrive. She loves being silly with the children, conducting felt stories, and helping children reach their full potential. Miss Tami is a science fanatic and loves watching as the children's eyes fill with curiosity and awe during science experiments! Her goal when opening Village Academy was to create an environment that promotes kindness and provides high-quality childcare, instilling a love of learning in the children they care for. She is thankful for the community they have created because it truly takes a village!

Jessica Waters | Director
Miss Jess is our fantastic director at Village Academy! With nearly 15 years of experience in the childcare field, her dedication and expertise have greatly contributed to the success of our center. Since its opening in 2021, we have had the pleasure of witnessing her passion and commitment firsthand. Miss Jess cherishes the relationships we build with the children and their families, and she takes great joy in stepping into each classroom to see the children wholeheartedly engaging in the wonderful activities planned by our teachers.

Miss Ava | Lead Nursery Teacher
Miss Ava is our lead nursery teacher. With over 6 years of experience in childcare and recently receiving her Infant/Toddler CDA, she is dedicated to providing high-quality care for the children. Ava's enthusiasm and love for her work is evident. Her favorite activity is creating and exploring messy sensory bins and exploring the outdoors with her students. Her nurturing and empathetic teaching style demonstrates her commitment to building strong connections with her students. She ensures that every child gets a strong and compassionate start to their preschool journey, laying a solid foundation for their future growth and learning.
Miss Nadine | Nursery and Waddler Teacher
Miss Nadine is one of our nursery and toddler teachers! She has 25 years of experience in childcare, including 13 years teaching pre-kindergarten, one year with toddlers, and one year in private kindergarten. For the past 10 years, she has been teaching infants, which is her favorite age group. She loves watching the children grow, achieve their milestones, and see their personalities blossom.
Miss Avery | Nursery Teacher's Assistant
Miss Avery is a teacher’s assistant in our nursery classroom. She has five years of experience working with children of all ages! Her favorite thing about teaching is watching them hit incredible, memorable milestones and develop into their personalities as they grow, and she also loves making meaningful connections with them.

Miss Melanye | Waddler Teacher
Miss Melanye is our waddler teacher! In high school she in childcare and volunteered in a daycare. Throughout high school, she interned at a lot of daycares, and after graduating, she got her certification and started working as an infant teacher, having two years of experience. She is currently enrolled at Bridgewater State University for Early Education. She was previously working at another daycare for almost about two years as an infant teacher also. She also babysits on the weekends. Her favorite thing about being a teacher is witnessing the incredible growth and development of the children. Each day brings new milestones, whether a first word, a new skill, or simply seeing them form friendships. The joy and curiosity of young children can be rewarding.
Miss Gianna | Waddler Teacher's Assistant
Miss Gianna is an assistant teacher in the waddler room! She brings a wealth of experience to her role, having been a mother for 8 years and working in daycares for 5 years. Miss Gianna finds immense joy in witnessing the children's growth and learning as they discover new things. She also takes pride in forming strong connections with both the children and their families, knowing that these bonds contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment.

Miss Melanie can catch onto each classroom's routine quickly and is currently thriving in her position! Her favorite part about working in childcare is bringing smiles to all her babies' faces and always giving the kids the biggest hugs. Miss Melanie has so much joy and compassion!
Miss Adelina | Toddler Teacher
Miss Adelina is one of our toddler teachers with a rich background in childcare. From the age of 16, she has accumulated extensive experience working with children of all ages in both daycare and private childcare settings. She also has a two-year-old son! What she loves most about her work is witnessing the children she cares for achieve significant developmental milestones and forming lasting connections with them. She is adaptable, quick to learn, and has a genuine passion for childcare.
Miss Kaitlyn | Toddler Teacher's Assistant
Miss Kaitlyn recently started at Village Academy, and she is loving it! She is a teacher’s assistant working in the toddler/preschool room. Although she is new to the daycare industry, she has experience working with children of all ages as a babysitter and nanny, ranging from 1 to 12 years old. Her favorite thing about being a teacher is making the children happy and seeing them come to daycare every day with a smile on their face. Her main priority is to ensure that they are smiling, feel loved, and consider the daycare a comfortable place for them to grow and learn.
Miss Marina | Toddler/Preschool Teacher
Miss Marina is one of our toddler/preschool teachers! With three to four years of experience, she has worked with children aged three to five in diverse settings such as daycare facilities, preschools, pre-kindergartens, and homes. Marina has a proven track record of creating and delivering engaging lessons and activities to support the holistic development of her students. Her passion for teaching is evident in her joy in witnessing children's growth and progress.

Miss Olivia is our amazing preschool teacher who brings seven years of dedicated childcare experience to her role. She goes above and beyond to foster growth and exploration by immersing herself in playful and messy activities with the children. Miss Olivia's genuine love for childcare shines through in her daily interactions with the children and her support for her coworkers.

Miss Maryann is our exceptional lead pre-K teacher, with an extensive wealth of knowledge and many years of valuable experience. Additionally, she has raised her own children, which further enriches her understanding of early childhood development. Her dedication to childcare is evident in her favorite aspect of the job, which is fostering a warm, family-like atmosphere at the center. She prioritizes inclusion, ensuring that both parents and coworkers feel like integral parts of the childcare community.
